Injection Molding
Injection Molding is one of the processing methods of templating plastic. This process involves injecting molten plastic into a metal mold by using high pressure (10~3000kgf/c).
Although the methods are similar to a metallic casting, in contrast a plastic injection molding uses higher pressure and relatively lower temperature (180-450°C) where as metallic casting uses a higher temperature (above the melting point of the metal) and lower pressure.
